Tombo kamprofile gasket

Kammprofile gasket TOMBO No. 1891-GR 

1. Can be used under severe conditions encountered in a heat cycle, and exhibits excellent sealing performance even when a small tightening force is used.
2. There is no need for an inner ring to stop buckling. This enables this gasket to be designed with a narrow width.
3. There is no need to worry about the gasket breaking up even in the case of a large bore gasket.
4. Suitable for use in heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Application 

Water、Steam、Hot water、Brine、Seawater、Petroleum hydrocarbon、Alcohol、Animal and mineral oil、Thermal oil、Aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene, etc) / organic solvents / thermal oils、Organic solvent、Weak acid、Weak alkalis、Air、Exhaust gas、Cryogenic fluids such as liquefied gas etc.

When using TOMBO No.1891 at Class 400 or higher, use an interlocking type (M&F) or a grooved type (T&G) flange.
A Kammprofile gasket is clad with expanded graphite or PTFE. For this reason, the surface of the gasket is easily damaged. If the damage causes the metal to be exposed, leakage may occur. Handle the gasket carefully.
